Differences between the cranial crests of Parasaurolophus cyrtocristatus (top) and Parasaurolophus walkeri (bottom) .

Apart from the cranial crest, Parasaurolophus walkeri also differs from Parasaurolophus cyrtocristatus by having longer upper arms than forearms. This further reinforces the theory that walkeri and cyrtocristatus were two distinct species, and not simply different due to sexual dimorphism. It's also unlikely that Parasaurolophus cyrtocristatus was just a juvenile or female P. tubicen as tubicen lived at least 1 million years later - around 73 million years ago.

P. walkeri lived around 75 / 76 million years ago and P. cyrtocristatus lived around 74 / 75 million years ago.

Dear Visagrunt , Sloths are frequently green. They have mildew growing on them. No joke, just Google 'sloth mildew'. They also smell really, really bad.

Ah, but they, themselves, aren't green. If I put on a green pullover, I may look green, but that doesn't mean that I am green.

but if you've never put on a green pullover before, in a sense you might be considered "green."

William Shakespeare was 46 when the King James edition of the Bible was written and published. In the 46th Psalm, the 46th word in is 'shake' and the 46th word counting back from the last is 'spear'. Coincidence????

Dear Fudo, What do you mean? You have over FOUR THOUSAND posts! I'm confused.

Dear The Beautiful Mess, Your avatar is adorable; cross-stitch? Your post is fascinating, and your quotes are excellent!

Welcome to WP!

Dear Rabbitears, seeing those profiles, I wonder if H.R. Geiger used images like that when designing the 'Alien'? Whatcha think?

I've always seen quite a similarity too. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the alien was influenced by paras, at least a little bit. Good thing if they are because I love those films.

Neofinetia falcata is a member of the Orchidaceae family, and should receive more accolades than it does. It is a native to Japan. From the Orchid Species Culture website: "In Japan, N. falcata has been known as Fuki-ran (Rich and Noble Orchid), and is known in some localities as Fu-ran (Wind Orchid)." It is also sometimes called the Samurai Orchid.

It is quite small, easy to grow, and puts off a strong fragrance from its flowers (especially at night). It has been hybridized successfully with vandaceous orchids, and ascocentrum orchids, among others.

I've been asked in-game if im Lithuanian because a name i use online has a meaning in Lithuanian. I asked what the name meant in Lithuanian and it means the exact same as my RL middle name. To find one name that people have known me by for several years means the same as a name i've had all my life is interesting. My English middle name in Greek has the same meaning as my Sanskrit name in Lithuanian =).
