It was first on the list of the 7 most terrifying corporate mascots of all time, and I can sort of understand why.

I'm not sure what I thought of the advert, but I didn't like how he kept giving the kid burgers.

My first thought was actually "Wow, Ronald McDonald's fashion sense has improved over the years." Not much, mind you, but still.
