Do you get the impression that people don't like you here?

Just curious. For me it varies - some members like me, others think I'm rude, blunt. Lol it's just like in real life. Do you get the impression that people on this forum don't like you or don't notice you? I think xalepax said something about your posts getting lost within hours but my advice is to pm people and see if someone wants to talk - that way you can get more attention

Not sure, I think I have had the impression that some members don't like me, but I don't always get that feeling.

sometimes but I reap what I sow. If I'm a snot or a snob, I'm bound to get it back. I often don't mean to be a snob. It's just my way.

Doesn't matter, you can't get along with everyone.

Yeah I got various impression of you. Sometimes I have read you as very nice and sometimes as rude yes but we can also like diffrent sides with one and the same person and we react diffrent on diffrent aspects.
Some people might like something you say that I read as rude, like IRL yes



I dont get noticed by people who is moving around in forums I dont attend but that is of course a self explaination!
But It doesnt bother me who likes me and not as nobody here knows me for real so the question havent even crossed my mind before this thread popped up!



Yeah I said it in my introduction post because this is such an huge and active forum and I was affraid I would be lost
But you are not lost and unimportant to the threads you attend and follow regularly.
There you are recognised and and meet others who also like that thread and thereby feel you have something in common with them, thats at least how I feel it



This is very individual on what suits you. I would never PM someone "just to talk" if I dont have any particular to say to that particular person. If I did that I would feel I would bother the person in question
And all of us wants attention on this forum in diffrent ways. Some do it with crying out, some want people to react on their opinions....and so on..

I cant say I want attention really. I just like to hang around here and find it relaxing
But if someone likes to talk and share things with me then I just feel appreciation, like you Learning2Survive have shown me

Me, personally, I don't think I post often enough so that anyone can get a good image of me and subsequently form an opinion of me, but I think I generally come across as likeable.

On the other forum I visit semi-fequently, there are people who dislike me, but they tend to simply ignore my posts and don't attack me, which is fortunate. It rather frustrates me that everyone can't simply get along. When any two people on a message board dislike each other, it just very much disrupts my sense of harmony.

Have no idea whether am liked/disliked/hated etc as it isn't something am think or care about.
try not to take any cyber 'hate' too seriously,from someone who does not have the experience of self needed to be able to make a true judgement-that would require knowing self offline.

Am don't hate anyone on here,and treat all genuine users as equal worth whether get that back or not,am tend to avoid threads that only ask for a different asd group,because have no idea whether they just dont know others are on here,or if they only want the specific group to answer,sometimes will not write on a thread because its wrote in a way that has a point but dont have an answer for it-or just dont have any interest or relation to it,sometimes it's because have got a feeling the OP is a 'sock puppet' for bad reasons,or a troll.But some genuine and nice users on here seem to take it very personally when they're not replied to,as a attack/hate on them,it doesnt seem fair then that posts that have had effort put into them by innocent users can get less notice than troll bait,that is why some actually turn to baiting.

I don't really care on what people think. If they hate me, it won't affect me in any way.

I have no idea, I hardly ever notice stuff like that unless it's made very clear to me.

But I wouldn't pay too much attention to it on here, there's what, 6 billion people or more on this planet, there's bound to be someone who's personality/view clashes with yours.
Besides that, I don't even know the people on here, for all I know you're all just a bunch of computer generated persona's responding to my messages as to create a life like social environment for me:p

Well, I don't know of anyone that likes me, but I also don't know of anyone that does not like me. I know some people here don't like or respect some of my views/opinions, though the feeling is usually mutual. I'm not concerned with being accepted by everyone or popular though so it doesn't bother me.

I think most people don't care one way or 'tother... Sometimes I view the threads as a strange piece of performance art. Occasionally I connect with someone, but most times, I expect they just say 'oh, that's Pakled for ya'...

Some people see me, some people say they see me but they don't, some don't see me, and some don't see me or believe in me.

If someone doesn't like me it's probably because they a.) have a difference in opinions and values or b.) don't understand me.

If their opinions/values are different they are probably not going to change them, and hence I'm not going to put much (if any) effort into trying.

If they don't understand me, it's up to them to decide whether it's worth their while to attempt to do so. I have absolutely no control over that.


At any rate, it seems that at least half the posts I make are more or less completely ignored. There could be a million reasons why, who cares? If people don't like what I have to say and are just holding their tongues, then as far as I'm concerned, more power to em. I tend to have far less restraint.

Rather than be in denial I chose to recognize the fact that I am rude and misunderstood quite often.
