Why does time go by fast when we're having fun and slow when we're bored?

I think it's because when we are anticipant, we seem to twindle on time. When we are having fun, we are enjoying ourselves and time is irrelevant.

Your brain always selects what it think is best for you in any given situation. In order to come to any conclusion though, it has to process information, and that takes time. When you're having fun, your brain gets stimulated more and thus it doesn't need to keep track of time. At least that's my theory. :roll:
