How bald are you? Do you have a receding hairline? Is your hair thin at the crown (top) of your head?

I'm only twenty-two, but I've noticed for the past few years that my hair is thin at the crown of my head. I'm not sure if it will progressively get worse, or if it's just the way my hair is.

If I remember correctly, I think that I've had thin hair at the top of my head though for many years already.

One of the perks of being a girl is that this isn't a problem.
But I've got a friend your age (which is my age too) who's got that going on. Fortunately for him he's really tall so it's hard to see, hahaha. I think there were even a couple guys in my HS who were going slightly bald.
But it seems like hair restoration technology is always getting better, (based on the infomercials I've seen..) so there are probably a lot of options for stopping and/or fixing/reversing it.

I think it's accelerating. But at my age, that's not unusual. Male Pattern Baldness can strike at any age (I knew a guy in high school with a little chrome dome action going on)

Don't think women don't lose hair. They don't usually get patches of skin, but it can thin out a lot. I've know a couple of women like that.

I don't think of my hair as receding, as just migrating to my nose and ears...;) j/k...;)

My hair isn't receding at all, plus it's quite thick and coarse and sticks out like an afro if short and unmanaged. I almost wish it were actually thinning!

dad and both granddads died with full heads of hair. Hair in my family is a curse. You get a full head of hair your whole life, but it is way too ridiculously thick and curly and unmanageable.

I have noticed that it has thinned a bit over the last few years.

Reminds me of a Gallagher routine. For those who don't know, for this joke at least, he had MPB and wore his hair long. He pointed out that i\t wasn't so much that he was losing his ha\ir, but it was sliding off the back. In another few years, he wouldn't worry about cold toilet seats...

I don't think I will be bald, if anything my hair growth is accelerating. I'm 21 and I've more bodyhair than most men. 8O

My oldest brother is nearly 26 and he's going bald... and grey.

Pat's losing hair because his huge chin makes him rapidly age.
