I'm so used to seeing the notion of having or finding a purpose in life as a selfish matter: 'What is MY place in this world, how will I establish and develop MYSELF?' And then you two come in, and for you what's most important is
another little person you helped bring into the world. That must have been an eye-opening experience.
And Ryan, having randomness as your purpose/reason for living makes it sound like you're very much someone who takes life from day to day, ceasing the moment.
