I'm under the impression that this hasn't changed at all. Only the phrasing of homophobic groups and individuals has changed to be slightly more 'subtle'.

There are still churches not far from where I live, where there are 'healing' sessions that are meant to cure people of homosexuality. They claim to cure AIDS as well.

There are actually still plenty of groups who think they can "cure" homosexuality.

There is a big difference though. Skin colour and sexuality don't directly have a negative impact on someone's life, or limit their ability to live a successful life. Regardless of what people like to think, autism does.

I've been cured of anxiety!!
All I gotta do is take my Klonopin and Celexa everyday 2 twice a day.

Now if there were only a cure for my social retardation..... :doh:
