Krispy Kreme closed all its stores in Texas in March 2006. I miss it really much.

gas station: Speedway, Jetz, BP, Citgo

grocery stores: Pick N Save(that's really only one I go to. Back when I lived way north there was a grocery store call Triggs which was pretty awesome. Had a video renting place. Was like a little mall almost. Gets me nostalgic just thinking about it)

Subway

I have traveled around the US, been to more places then I can count, from towns with 5 houses, to the big cities, and I have never been to a 'area' that didnt have a Subway, lol
It is sort of a joke on my cycling team, after a race someone asks "what is there to eat around here", and someone will say "there has to be a subway around here"

It is the same way with walmart, you could travel to a town in the middle of nowere, with only 3 houses, but they got a walmart! Travel to Hawaii, there is 20 walmarts per island (okay maybe not that many)
