I am not diagnosed with Autism but I have these rather odd things that I do subconsciously all the time. I draw lines with my torso...up, down, left, right, up, down, left, right...addition shape, over and over and over...I'll be watching tv and see the window out of the corner of my eye and trace the addition sign inside the window by moving my hips ever so slightly. I don't know I'm doing it until I realize it. Also, while in a car, I find a dot on the window and make it jump over cars or power lines as they go by by moving my head. That's also subconscious. There are many other things I do like that. I have a big fixation with rhythm. I first assumed OCD, but now I don't think so. I came across the word Stereotypy and think that's I do...cause It's subconscious. Anyway, if anybody has any opinions, I'd really appreciate them!

Thanks!!

I move around trying to get something to apear somewhere aswell, I also sometimes end up walking funny as I keep subconsiously trying to put my feet in to some sort of rythm, and various other strange things. One rather odd thing I do is when I'm in the car, or on a bus, or even walking! I will find a point on the windscreen, usually the bottom, and when that point appears to go over a line in the road I will put my teeth together, and part them slightly when it's between lines, I sometimes do this for over fifteen minuets... Anyway, I think what you are referring to is Obsessive compulsive, I have it I think, my sister (who does not have aspegers) does, and pretty much all my friends have aspergers, and a few of them are obsessive compulsive.
