including the 3 new episodes.

i wish the oldest seasons were longer.

i wish there were more old episodes :(

i love that show, i adore the theme, the slow intro theme of the earlyer seasons, and i adore the end theme w the "fun fun fun" song

i love the characters, their cynicism and the atheist message, i love the lack of aliens, and i love the shabby technology and their overall lack of talent, and how their survival seems to always depend on luck.
i love all the paradoxes they create, and that lister in the last human in the universe, and through a paradox becomes the eternal human AND through another paradox consists entirely of his own genes, since he is his own father, and therefore shares 100% of his genes with his father. which leaves... 0% for the mother side :D

i love lister, the cat, rimmer and kryten, they are all amazing characters. holly both male and female are awesome characters, and even tho kochanski comes along much later in the series, she too is carefully made into a kickass cool character.

its just a great series...

Lickity split!

I've loved that show since I was 5. My favorite season definitely has to be number five, when Rimmer becomes a victim of the Holo virus and dresses up in "a red and white checked gingham dress... and army boots," with his sidekick Mr. Flibble the penguin puppet. You can tell the other actors are trying hard not to burst out laughing.

The seasons after six were also okay. Not the best, but still great to watch anyway. Especially Kryten's loss of sanity after Kochanski becomes a part of the crew. One of the best shows ever made!

that is a brilliant moment :D:D:D

the show has many awesome moments, where you just crack the hell up

one of my favorite moments is when lister collapses, and rimmer, as a hologram needs help, and calls for the cat. and the cat slams his hands in the table, gets up, and sits down to finish his meal as soon as rimmer is out of sight: repeatedly :D
just priceless

i love the cold heartedness of the whole series :D

Dwarf is truly the greatest :D

Favourite character: the Cat.
Possible aspie: Rimmer.
Favourite series: Hmm... It's a tie between II and V.
Least favourite: The last two.
Favourite moment: The scene in Rimmerworld where Rimmer tries to remember the names of the crew. "Derek Custer! There's Kit... and Titan!" :D

rimmer shows a lot of aspie traits, altho i would never believe it is intentional, beyond "a generally inept guy"

my fave would be rimmer, but they are all awesome.
theres just no end to how worthless rimmer is made to feel :D

I love Red Dwarf!

In my opinion the best series were V and VI.

My favourite episode is probably Back to Reality, which includes my all time favourite bit of dialogue from Rimmer as Billy Doyle:

"This is a nightmare. I'm on the run from the fascist police with a murderer and a mass murderer and a man in a bri-nylon shirt. A flotsam, jetsam, human wreckage, sputum bag who smells like a yak latrine and now my best flashing mac' is about to be splattered with an android's brain. I'm after you with the gun."

I  Red Dwarf.

Seasons I - VI Are The Best.

They go downhill after VI in all honesty.

Favourite series is V.

Favourite character is The Cat. :D

One of my favourite quotes was when Lister eats the dog food.

"Now I know why dogs lick their own testicles."

My fav. episode is Dimension Jump, where in a parallel universe Rimmer is hold back a year while in the show universe Rimmer barely passes... and what a difference this makes.

I love the episode "Justice", love it when Kryten is acting as Rimmer's defending attorney:

Kryten: I ask the court one key question: would the Space Corps have allowed this man ever to be in a position where he might endanger the ship? A man so petty and small-minded he would while away his evenings sewing name labels on to his ship-issue condoms? A man of such awsome stupidity...
Rimmer: Objection!
Justice: Objection overruled.
Kryten: A man of such awsome stupidity, he even objects to his own defence counsel. An over-zealous, trumped up little squirt...
Rimmer: Objection!
Justice: Overruled.
Kryten: An incompetent vending-machine repairman with a Napoleon complex, who commanded as much respect and affection from his fellow crew members as Long John Silver's parrot...
Rimmer: Objection!
Justice: If you object to your own counsel once more, Mr Rimmer, you'll be in contempt.
Kryten: Who would put this man, this joke of a man, a man who couldn't outwit a used tea bag, in a position of authority where he could wipe out an entire crew? Who? Only a yoghurt. This man is not guilty of manslaughter. He's only guilty of being Arnold J. Rimmer. That is his crime. It is also his punishment. Defence rests.

a fave quote
"thats your excuse for everything, isnt it? being dead!"

also, am i weird for REALLY loving the end credit song?
why do i love it so much?
i think its the simple depressive/joyfull idea of being lost in space, and dreaming about life
