I have a friend with schizoaffective disorder, I'd agree with your comment about those with aspergers. As well as similar traits (like having to analyse people as opposed to "feeling your way" through social scenarios), I found we complement each other well, as depressive symptoms on my part aren't mirrored by someone whose emotions are for the most part hardwired to shift over a few weeks at a time (I won't get him down because he's manic, which helps me, and I understand when he's down and can help rationalise, which eases things for him).
In regard to your other video; Asperger's Syndrome and How It Affects Me, I also have things that I despise intensely, although in the same way people deal with fears, I can only suggest you deliberately expose yourself to these things as much as you can allow, in order to "harden" yourself to them. It's difficult, but with time it can make you a stronger person for knowing you can.
