Okay, so I have my psych appointment today and as it happens, I have bi-polar disorder.

f-ing hell...

Now instead of the Effexor, I'll be taking Lamictal.

I hear they still do lobotomies at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Sorry to hear about the bipolar diagnosis. I know someone who was on Lamictal as a mood stabilizer, and it seemed to work pretty well for her (she has Borderline Personality Disorder, not Bipolar Disorder). I hope it helps you.

I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. But have you considered taking herbal supplements instead of medication?
