Quotation from my conversation with Ana54: "I've obsession concerning dates :D I like history and genealogical trees (after all, watching such a tree one can find there so many dates of birth :D ). I'm my family's expert of ties of blood - who's whose brother/daughter/grandmother/cousin and so on  As a child I was always drawing my family trees. I NEVER forget others' dates of birth".

Do many people here share my obsession? :D And do/did you like history at school? :P

I love history and tho I remember some exact dates down to the day of events I have a far better memory of rememering dates from my past (example: I recall at the age of 4.5 on 7/4/87 my parents back yard party).

Mostly with dates I would rather forget.

I remember at the age of 5 on the first of May 1989 my walking with my grandpa. I even remember I was having braids then and I was wearing a skirt - for the first time that spring :D

I detest remembering dates. I easily do but I detest it due to having to do it sooooo much for school.

Dates aren't my favourite fruit, no.

:P

Seriously, though, I'm not so concerned with actual daily dates as I am with the years things occurred. Going into more detail is something that doesn't actually bother me very much, although people screwing up the years when things happened would probably grate on me...

Dates are one of my favorite fruits, but I don't get to eat them very often.

the only date I can remember is the year I was born. 8O

I wonder though, a question to those who like dates, do you like numbers as well?

yeah

you can go on a date on any date in time just to eat a bunch of dates

i would change the months to all 30days
5 days during the summer would be universal holidays
leap year day would be the same but in the winter
ultra mega holiday

the weeks are 5 days and you work 3 days
but the days are 20hrs and the hours are 72min

so, you could work ~11 hours and make up lost time
but theres official weekends every 3 days
that's cool

at least 72min hours
so instead of 8hr shifts
it'd be 6 and 2/3(new hr)
you could trick your mind into thinking that's less
and the 30day months
i guess changing weekdays would be too much

I like knowing what happened when, and have a good memory for dates, both historical and personal events.
