A dream, last night. I was in a group of persons (6 or 7) among whom there was Hitler. I had with me some long scissors and was worried to be discovered and possibly executed on the spot. But I was not discovered and this is all I remember of this dream.

BTW I don't think that dreams mean much. Certainly if you dream that you don't find a place where to pee, you easily discover that you really need to pee. But having found a "science" on the base of dream interpretation, as Freud did, has been all baloney and if I imagine people on couches all over the world doing efforts to relate to their analyzer their dreams, and the analyst trying to make sense of this crap (probably neurons dancing in the dark and chatting together, in the absence of the boss), I say what a bedlam of idiocy.

Never had that happen.

In my dreams, I somehow defy gravity, and it's quite an exhilarating experience. I wish that were possible in real life.

When you dream about some thing happen, it typically means that you have devoted many thoughts to the issue/person appearing in your dream. Not more, not less. That’s silly to search for any deeper meaning because in overwhelming majority of cases it doesn’t exist. I write my dreams down in a special “dream diary” since April this year. I describe some of my dreams in a thread in here: http://www.wrongplanet.net/posts49702-start240.html (my last dream and my explanation why I was dreaming about those people). You can find there many dreams of mine in this thread in case you are curious what the typical topics of my dreams are.

I wouldn't put much thought into it. you never know what might influence your dreams and it doesn't have to be meaningful.

I have a few recurring themes but apart from that it's all just white noise.

I like to reflect on dreams when I wake up, and some of them make me realise things, but it's a passive benefit, I don't take anything more than inspiration from them.
Also controlling your dreams is awesome.

What are these? In my case they are: mountain landscapes, exploring buildings (usually hospitals) in strange cities, visiting some areas of my town, evil hidden in dark buildings I am exploring, my schools I attended in the past (when I dream about my elementary school it’s usually a nightmare), being on a bus and generally leaving home, running away (now this theme doesn’t occur in my dreams as often as it used to like let’s say half a year ago and earlier but still).

Dreams are your subconscious' way of interpreting the days events and mulling over your wants and desires. They are pretty much just a way of thinking extravagantly in your sleep.

I get a lot of dreams where I'd not remember what happened just wake up feeling disturbed somehow, really bothered by something but can't remember what. The ones I could remember were usually disturbung too so these days I take measures to not remember them and I don't miss them at all.

I have those every now and then, sometimes quite often. They're more like nightmares to me, the fact that I'm floating only a foot or less off the ground and I can't keep contact between my feet and ground is irritating as hell. The combination of the fact that I'm there struggling the whole dream and visibly making a fool of myself while doing it is horrible.

one is missing a deadline/being late, in all possible scenarios;

another one is losing my dog (literally losing, I always lose track of things and that extends to the dog :p) and not being able to find him;

and the last one is being backstabbed by a close friend. I hate those the most.

Last night I dreamed that I had this hot chick in my apartment, and she was psycho. She was a control freak, but that wasn't the part that worried me. She carried a gun in her hand at all times, and she would point it at me whenever she got mad or if she wanted to keep me in check, as if I was gonna run away (I tried so many times but she kept catching up to me and sticking the gun right in my face, while screaming at me).
While she was in the other room, I managed to grab a phone and I dialed 911. The lady answered, "What is your emergency?"
I replied with, "There's this crazy chick in my home, and she's threatening me all the time." Then the lady kept questioning me as if it was a prank call. Then I shouted, "SHE HAS A GUN AND SHE WANTS TO SHOOT ME." Then the damn phone lady hung up on me!!
Somehow a few days later I manage to get the cops out to my place, and while this crazy chick had actually set her gun down within reach of me by suddenly becoming occupied with something else. I grabbed the gun and ran out the door, and I laid the gun down and was calling out for help from the cops parked outside. But they arrested me because they figured that just because I was the one in possession of the gun at the time, that it was the other way around, that I had actually pulled the trigger inside the house.

I woke up.

Sometime in my dreams there's people around me that I'm supposed to know, but I don't. I couldn't describe them in detail, but I wonder if somewhere in the world, do they exist? And if they do, do I pop into their dreams and they're supposed to know me?
I know, it's a bit off the deep end. :?

Typical dreams i have are very dull, dream I am getting up for a glass of milk or something drab like that.
But the times I do have more detailed dreams they are typically in 3rd person. I am just watching what is going on.

I have some funny stories regarding my dreams.

The weirdest dream I have ever had was at a mall (not a real one, but the same one I've had a dream at before). It's kind of hazy, but I remember a few things. One: I was at a kegger. Two: Dinosaurs were there, and I played beer pong with a velociraptor. Three: Stegosauruses cannot hold their liquor at all.

Another dream I had, I dreamed I woke up from the dream. I went through my entire morning routine, walked out the door, and then REALLY woke up. I was so annoyed that I had to do all that again.

My favorite dream (that isn't limited to the adult forum, anyways) was by far the one I could fly in. It was the coolest feeling ever.

Dreams often do mean things, but the symbolism is indosyncratic.

Its not what such-and-such "means"- its what such+such means to YOU.

If you approach it that way often the symbolims of dream comes to life with no analysis needed.
