I understand the concept of being born with a body part not shaped right etc. (perhaps something didn't develop right) which got me to thinking of deformed body parts and if you can get a what I'd call "Elf" ear (you know like elves,Link or Zelda etc.) Sure fantasy is fantasy but I was curious if scientifically you could have a deformed ear that was pointed like an Elf? LOL! (we have people who are hairy like werewolves in real life why not Elf ear?)

You can get surgery to have elf ears. I think it's called "ear pointing", but there's only a couple of practitioners that do it.

There's also a DIY way to get elf ears, but it involves cutting a chunk out of and stitching up your own ears, which sounds like it would hurt somehow.
