Facebook changed my profile setup without my permission.

That pissed me off. What part of " I DON'T WANT IT" did they not get? It seems to me that they don't care what any of their customers think. If they do it again, I will deactivate my Facebook account.

Technically, you're not a customer. If you were, then you'd be paying to use Facebook.

That aside, Facebook tends to do that to all its members. I wasn't too happy with some of their layout changes, but I still went along with it because I overall enjoy being a part of Facebook. I take the good with the bad.

My account has had a notification at the top for about a week now, stating that the new profile was going into effect by Thursday, and I could go ahead and change early if I wanted. It was a very general-looking part of the page that did not warrant much attention, but it was still a notification nonetheless. Am I happy to be forced into changing? No, but I can't say they did not warn me.
