Do people with sub average IQs understand everything? Well, do people with genius level IQs understand everything? Probably a lot more, but i wouldnt hold it against someone with a low IQ. This world loves people who probably test borderline mentally handicapped on IQ tests, at least here in America where we elected George Bush to run the country, twice, people actually buy stuff that has Puff Daddies name on it, people love to go see Matthew Mcconaughey movies, we gave Paris Hilton her own TV show, the staff of the Fox News network is gainfully employed.

So do they understand everything? nope, but doesnt mean they cant live fulfilling and successful lives.

George Bush cannot possibly be borderline MR if he went to Harvard.
I've personally been in contact with real borderline MR people who are not autistic, they cannot even do regular high school. The guy I know has an IEP that is very different from the regular grade system. He definitely will not able to get into, let alone graduate, university. When we talked, all he was able to say to me was "hi, how are you" and a few simple words. I think he understands regular daily life situations, though.

As I understood it he was refused entry due to low intelligence / failing entry exam but managed to get in because of the influence of his father.

you could have the lowest IQ, but be the most intelligent person. Just because your IQ is higher then somone elses dosent make you smarter then that person, think about that for awhile, just try to think how that is posible.

Ugh, only in America........ :?

An addition to the Puff Daddy thing, people that sing about shooting people, slapping women, treating them like objects, etc get ultra famous and idolized here. :x
