Changed my avatar and now I can't recognize myself

I changed my avatar in the middle of the night because I felt it was time for a new B&J picture. Instead of them being at the diner, it is of them at the poker game and Joon is about to win Sam for losing the match.

But when I go back to a thread to see more replies, I keep thinking "hey where did my post go?" and then I see my avatar and realize "oh yeah, I changed it." This avatar is harder to see and recognize for me. It's darker and the characters are harder to see because the picture is smallar. I am so used to the clear view of Sam and Joon I don't even recognize my own avatar right now. No Johnny Depp this time.

Anyone ever had this experiance with their new avatars?

I think that it's a great avatar. :)

I thought about changing my avatar, but opted not to for that reason... I would likely spend a week doing just what you speak of doing. It is like getting a hair cut... I freak myself out every time I walk past a mirror for awhile wondering who that person is in my house. Heh.

Great avatar!

A very wise choice, IMO.

Yes, I've had that experience. After a little while, though, I adjusted to my new avatar.

It is always easier to spot your avatar if the colors are monotome and the post count is high.
