For the past few weeks the weather's been doing the same pattern:
Every weekday I don't work, it's cold, gloomy, or snowing.
Every weekday I work, it's sunny and warm, enough to feel like spring.
Can't I get a decent day off anymore? Next week is spring break, and I'm hoping to hit the road on a small road trip to Charlotte, so the weather had better make the roads passable for the week!

I feel the same way, about the weather.

I can go there, when there is too much snow, too much wind, too much heat / humidity.

But the weather can do friendly things. After studying in London and returning to the States, I made a trip back to collect some data I should never have left behind. Flew over, landed, staying out in - where? I am bad at names, started with H. After a couple days getting settled I rode into town on the train. Got out at King's Cross, walked ten paces, and the skies opened. Instant downpour.

Ah, sez I, London is saying hello, welcome back.

^ You must be talking about Heathrow. Course, only reason I know that is because I flew there once on Flight Simulator X.

The weather in Laramie has been cold and colder for quite some time now. I look forward to the upcoming spring thaw so I can finally change out of my bubble coat. No, I'm serious, the coat has a layer of air pouches for insulation, it's quite warm but makes me look like the Michelin Man.
