as a kid?

I'll start :)

I used to see how loud I could get my claps. I would sit for 30 minutes or more perfecting my clapping.

Whenever I walked, I pretended I was driving. Whenever I was in the back seat of the car, I pretended I was driving.

I could also use computers, code in HTML, and tell you the exact model of a car from looking at the wheels... While I was 10! I couldn't tell the time or do my laces though :P

I would take a nice stretchy bedsheet, and tie it different ways around my body to make beautiful dresses. I was never able to create the same dress twice.

When I was little, I used to draw shapes in the air with my fingers
I still kinda do if I was to try and spell something....

Also pretending I was driving a car, SNAP! :D

I don't think this was the most unusual thing I did as a child, but it is what comes to mind tonight. I used to arrange my bedroom according to travel trailer layouts in brochures. This was before I was ten years old. There was a pop-up camper dealership next door to our house, and I used to go there with my father and go through those campers a lot---then I would make my room look like them (the best I could) with help from the brochures.

I would hold my arm in the air to prevent myself from falling asleep. When my arm would start to fall it would wake me, again and again. Eventually I would pass out from exhaustion. I had recurring nightmares and was afraid to fall asleep.

I walked on my toes and had to teach myself by third grade how to walk normally so the kids at school would stop pointing and laughing. It was really painful but I was finally able to.

This is an interesting thread because things start coming to mind as you read others' posts. Something else I used to do before I was ten years old was put clothes pins on my fingers and stare out windows at night.

I counted to 100,000 when I was a kid. Obviously not in one sitting. I'd pick up in the morning where I left off the night before. The goal was 1 million. I came way short.

These are great! Thanks for sharing!

I also used to sit and draw pictures in the carpet (using my finger) and find pictures on our ceilings( they have a sun type shape).
