Thanksgiving fubar

I kept asking from September to now if my family's getting together for Thanksgiving. The answer was always, "I don't think so".

Yesterday, I called my father to ask again. He said that none of my sisters are doing anything and he's not hosting anything either.

My wife got a message on facebook AT MIDNIGHT that my other sister is having a get together. My wife was going to let me go and said be ready by 10AM but this morning before she left for work, I mentioned that I didn't want to go if they weren't going to invite me personally. But she said that I should call people. My friggin' phone is in the car and my wife has the car.

I'm so pissed off right now. It's like foster care all over again where my mother took back my sisters who were always fighting but not me.

If you want to go and can find a way to get there, just do your best to ignore all the fubar stuff and go. Maybe in the midst of her own harried life your sister just forgot to say something earlier.
