Carfolio.com is a favourite site of mine and i wanted to share, it is the best website for automotive technical specifications that i have so far encountered. 
it is a fantastic resource, as much for personal research as it is for handy facts.

Carfolio.com is, as far as we know, the most comprehensive database of car technical specifications on the internet. It is a work-in-progress that has taken many years to compile. Currently there are over 10 500 distinct models listed in the database, from more than 500 manufacturers. The ultimate goal is to have the specifications for every car ever produced. It is intended that Carfolio.com be a primary resource for automotive journalists, enthusiasts and hobbyists alike to find general technical specifications of the cars that interest them. Developments are in progress to empower these groups of people to communicate effectively via this wonderful new medium without needing any technical background. Let our technical team worry about the technical issues and get your message out here.
The site is currently in Phase 3 of the rebirth, having been started in 1998 as Z-GAS. We welcome and encourage any suggestions from you, the people who will be using this site, to incorporate into Phase 4. Please send your feedback to feedback@carfolio.com. A hearty thanks to all those who have already sent in hundreds of suggestions and error corrections too - your feedback has improved the site and the quality of the data already - please keep it up!
