Which do you think contributed more to the culture of the upper midwest of the USA? (Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota)

As far as i know, Sweden used to have some colonies, but that is about all i know about the subject.

Yes, I don't think Sweden has a much impact on it as Norway, f.ex, if you say the word "viking", you think about norwegians, not swedes, even though they were vikings too.
