Issues with Hair dye & Math

I just dyed my hair & I'm worried it didn't hold even though I followed the directions & made sure my scalp did not burn. Plus I was studying for my math final on Tues. & the old stuff we learned makes no sense to me know. I'd give math problem examples but I can't make an upside down capital U on my laptop . Anyone else have issues with hair dye &/or math?

Is the math linear algebra? Probably I won't be much help cause I suck at it.

No, its working w/ sets like:
(AUB)=?
(A(insert upside down U here)B)=?
AUB`=?
when U (universe)= (a,b,c,d,e), A= (a,b,c), C= (c,e), and D= () or empty set

I have no idea what you just wrote but that looks like computer science is it?

Looks like unions and intersections. Probably an intro to discrete math course. Am I right?

Remember, (A U B) means that you take all of the elements in A and all the elements in B and create a new set with them. However, sets don't have duplicates, so if 5 is in A and in B, you only need to write 5 once.

And, (A ∩ B) means you take an element and add it into the set if you can find it in both A and B.

The empty set can be quite difficult, though. Though the empty set ∅ itself has no elements, you can have the set C = {∅}. Think for a second about how many elements this has. Though it contains the empty set, the brackets indicate that the empty set is an element of C, and therefore C has one element. I always found that a bit tough to grasp.

I found the upside-down U (the "intersection" symbol) by Googling "intersection symbol in unicode", for the record.
