Disco polo jest mimo wszystko genialne w swej prostocie. Jak człowiek popije *nieco* ponad miarę to jego świadomość nie przetworzy żadnych dżezów albo klasyki. A tutaj mamy wszystko, skoczną melodyjkę i ŻYCIOWE teksty.
Historia Twoich kuzynów to naprawdę ostry stuff. :D Powinnaś to spisać, opublikować i zbijać grubą kasę... Taka polska rzeczywistość. :D

I don't speak Polish, but my grandfather was Polish. His family immigrated to upstate NY. I just know one word in Polish. I think it's spelled shoo shoo. :?

I wish I could speak at least a little bit of Polish. It is, after all, what the Paleta sisters', Dominika and Ludwika, native language. Both are among my favorite actresses.

:hail:

I hereby bestow upon your comment the title of the best comment of WP ever :D Yes, I had to google those two ladies too  It's the confirmation of the old saying that no one is a prophet in their own land  They may be known but that's already beyond the borders of their home country

Ludwika is a pretty name but also an obsolete one. It seemed to be relatively popular somewhere in my grandparents' generation. Dominika is one of the most popular names. Their last name means palette.

I didn't know that some Polish chicks are stars of Mexican soap operas. :D

Sorry, I sometimes forget I do follow a completely different celebrity system than most people. I watch many Mexican soap operas, so I know mostly soap opera actors, like Adela Noriega, Altair Jarabo, Fernando Colunga, the Paleta sisters, Cesar Evora, etc, instead of the movie actors most people like. I only know some names. Like...Tim Cummings? :? (just a name I picked up off wikipedia searching for American actors, I have no clue who he is)But I wouldn't be able to recognize them if I saw pics or movies with them in them. I only know voice actors on my favorite cartoons/animated movies, but I only know their names. I know nothing else of their work, or biography.

I like the name Ludwika. It has such a pretty sound. When I name one of my kitty cats Ludwika, I'll call her "Little Vika".XD

Really, their last name means palette? That's so neat. Where did you find that? When I was younger, I always thought they were named for paletas. Probably cause they loved them so much, or something. Well, maybe they do. Who doesn't, after all?XDNow I wonder what favorite flavor is. Or because they were very sweet.

Surnames can sometimes have the oddest meanings. Catherine d'Medici's means something something like medicine or doctor, I once read. And of course, many names are the names of places. One of the reasons I love names in general so much.

Niezupełnie, ale Google Translate pozwala mi być dobrze rozumiana w języku polskim w sposób okrężny.
