Would you give anyone a sympathy card if they lost their beloved pet? I don't know if that is the norm. :?

I haven't had an occassion but I think it's a 'very' good idea, particularly when someone loves their pet as much as a family member, which I would hope all pet owners would, because animals have feelings too and aren't that different than we are.
