No, because I can't learn by watching the teacher do things fast in front of the class. I need physical movements to be broken down into minute movements, head, arms, legs, waist, etc, and they don't cater for that. :(

I did karate when I was 9-10 years old, and cardio kickboxing when I was 22-23 years old.

silentscream,

that sucks. i have problems following the fast movements too but in our school since everyone is at a different level, we all get trained individually pretty much with stuff we're learning. also alot of the stuff we do is slow at times for internal energy, so thats easier to follow. im lucky to be in a really really good school, old school stuff.

I studied Kempo for a few years with my son as an attempt to help him focus. The teacher did well working with him... when testing for his blue belt my son became overwhelmed (it was a big dojo so 25+ people were testing) so the Grandmaster had him stop, helped him focus so my son was able to go through all the steps flawlessly. We just could no longer afford the lessons so we then tried Judo at the YMCA for a bit and later dropped off completely.

I took karate for a year or so in high school. I would love to learn judo and/or ju jitsu.

I did Wushu for 1 year but I felt it was too slow. I'm thinking of learning Kendo but I don't think I'll have the time coz I'll be busy with study etc.
