I can't stand Facebook?

I don't like it, I can't stand it, it even occassionally hurts me..... Everytime i'm trying to add somebody who I knew, some of them reject me and I feel like i'm automatically not welcome and ive been told a various amounts of times that i'm so annoying... I don't understand what is so annoying about me when i've practically haven't done anything wrong.

I used to go on facebook everyday enjoying the life that everybody used to enjoy and i've only started feeling like this is when I added my neighbours and things was good to start off with until my neighbour had put "How to you block this stalker" on her status which was an direct attack to me and I actually did not stalk her actually, she was accusing me to hurt me... then her sister messaged me and shouting this whole message and thought that i went too far when I practically haven't done anything wrong, so i replied back to her everything all in caps and saying it aggressively... Then they deleted me... and since then I felt like hating facebook and I felt like I could just end my life...

I even tried to close down my facebook a couple of times but failed and ended up coming back on Facebook which I really don't seem to understand why and I have some very good friends on there that I like talking to when I do happen to go on Facebook so I fail with that.

I can't stand the random junk on it on my profile page, its just annoying.

My girlfriend has even had a fight with somebody and wants me to delete them and I refused to delete them... and its been going on for months and months now, why hasn't that died out and getting posts on my wall like "block them" "delete them" over and over and over again.

I can't stand Facebook!! !

Anyone else feel the same?

No, seriously, you choose the people you want. If someone's giving you too much @#$%, there's no reason to put up with them.

Sounds about right That's why I prefer this site compared to facebook

I've been wondering whether to open an account on Facebook just to see what all the talk is about, but there are so many negative things said about it that it seems like a bad idea.

I don't use it for anything other than status updates and the occasional message, I usually block games and applications that people post on it as soon as I see them. Keeps it simple and (reasonably) secure, if your home page thingy is covered in rubbish you can remove applications from Settings - Application Settings.

I like Facebook just fine.

I don't care for it anymore. Mine was hacked into...it's not private even though they say it is, it isn't. I don't need a false illusion of privacy. I posted on another thread somewhere else on here about facebook, my list of grievances. I think they are kind of in a death spiral because of the changes. I think someone is going to start something better eventually. It's nice to revisit the past, which I did, and got it out of my system, and now I'm over it. I sent everyone contact information and deactivated it a few weeks ago. I don't miss it. People I didn't even know from Adam were sending me friend requests. That was the last straw, because I don't like hurting people's feelings. So I would add them, and then it would be like, why is this person in my life. You hit on one of my pet peeves, people calling people 'stalkers' because of online activity. I made a less than positive connection on myspace a while back and have deleted about 4 myspeese plus the facebook and I have yet to call that person a stalker. In my book they are a hacker. People are stalked, for real, every day in real life, and live lives in fear because of it. It annoys me to no end when people go on and on about having a 'stalker' online then you find out they have a tracker on their page because
THEY are obsessed with who is looking at their page. It just trivializes real stalking when people use that word that way. I am sorry that happened to you. People are idiots.

I had a FB account until recently. I closed it because a "certain someone" was giving me crap and I couldn't just block her because pretty much all of my friends there were associated with her. I decided it just wasn't worth it anymore. Unfortunately, I had to delete my MySpace and my YouTube account for the same reason just so she doesn't find me. She is indirectly still harrassing me though. I have a new YouTube account that only a couple people know about, so hopefully she doesn't find me again. I know for a fact these people won't tell her. One doesn't even know her...

Would of just been easier if you could try your hardest to delete her on all of the social networking site as you can and on YouTube, just block her so that she doesn't go to your youtube channel or post on it if you get what I mean, don't forget the block her while deleting her so that she doesn't go through to you again.

In this particular situation, the answer isn't that easy. There are just way too many connections. (It's a ton to explain.)

I have gotten emails from facebook and myspace people when I am not involved with either site.

oh me too. im so bored by hearing baout it.

and aparently im being 'rude' if i say im not on it because im neither 14 nor a narcassist.
why do i care if someone is in blah blah mood? (possibly because i have a.s, in fact).

That annoys me too. I've had various emails from other social network sites saying somebody wants me to be their friend. Some are real people I knew years ago and some are clearly spam from people I've never heard of. I just delete the emails - then a week later I get a reminder and the email says the person may be offended if I don't respond. Another week passes and another email saying last chance to accept the friendship offer - Boll..ks to the lot of 'em!

If the person wants a real conversation they can just email or phone me anyway, just don't wrap it up in all this social networking tinsel and crap.

I don't care much for it, either.

I hate facebook.

It reminds me of the popularity crap I use to see in highschool.
