How many hours normally does it take food itself from mouth to anus and urine from when you drink it to when you have to go pee? Thanks just curious.

It varies, but usually not very long. A few hours.

I think it's basically: you eat, it starts to get broken down in the stomach immediately, it gets digested properly in the small intestine and then it gets held in the large intestine with a little bit of extra digestion going on on what's left.

...I hope we're allowed discussion of digestive function.

There are too many variables to pinpoint a specific time frame. Studies have shown that gastric emptying (food leaving the stomach and entering the small intestines) can vary widely based on the person, the meal, the time of day, and/or the person's stress level. It can take as little as 60 minutes up to several days to digest food.

Edit: Corrected erroneous use of terminology.

If you click on a thread like this while you are eating, you have noone to blame but yourself.
