Whatever happened to ... ?

Yeh, I know, this probably comes up as a topic fairly frequently, but I was feeling sort of down today and thinking about the past, you know, what I've done with my life (or not !) and all that.

Whilst doing that, I started thinking about when I first lurked around WP, long before I posted (being pretty quiet and slow at getting going on forums) and wondered about some of the posters I used to see around, who you don't anymore.

I guess most people won't remember them or have even seen them anyway, (or they might still be around - I don't get on-line that much these days) but a few I remember seeing were:

alexbeetle
aspieforthelord
cernunnos - always had some sort of Robin Hood avatar
jameson - always remember his juggling avatar
janika
kbabz - is that right?
redmage
yvan-eht-nioj - took me ages to work this username out (am I slow or what?)

I'm sure there are lots more who used to be regulars but aren't now - perhaps I don't like change, but bizarrely (actually, wasn't there a poster called bizarre?) it unnerves me when posters disappear (even though I come and go fairly frequently myself). I guess I like things to stay the same.

I miss those members, as well. It's too bad that they had to drift away.

yes, it is one of life's mysteries as to whatever happened to folk who have disappeared from the radar in general. it is [for me] a pleasant revelation when one or more are found again.
