Fave side dish with chicken?

A hot ( madras? ) or aromatic ( tikka ) spicey sauce, and raita, made with plain unsalted full cream yoghurt, chopped cucumber, and lots of fresh coriander.

Um ... a drink? Nothing usually, unless someone else buys a really good white wine.

OMG, you have to be kidding. :D

Not that I am that much better.

My idea of throwing a fancy dinner party is to go to an Italian delicatessen and buy a bunch of stuff I can't even pronounce and serve it with wine that costs more than $5 a bottle.

I'm really posh, I am. :D

If I'm having chicken or pork i find em both served best wit some fried squash or some fried green tomatoes battered in my grandmother's terribly un-healthy but delicious recipe. Flower, Black Pepper, and a s### ton of sugar. After that I think ill wash this hypothetical country meal down with some of my Grandmother's ice cold sweet tea brewed the old fashioned way in her whistling kettle. dang... now im home sick :(

With General Tso's chicken, which is the type of chicken I eat most often, my favorite side dishes are lo mein and pork fried rice.

I like to eat instant rice, with my chicken. It's quick and easy.

My favorite thing to do with chicken breasts is to chop them up in bite-size pieces, brown them in oil, season with salt, ground pepper and garlic powder, then add them to a pot containing a jar of alfredo sauce, to which you also add a can of diced tomatoes. Then boil a pot of fettucine, and serve the hot chicken/tomato/alfredo sauce on top. This is seriously good stuff!

Mashed potatoes and gravy with corn mixed in. To drink, a soda.
