Is anyone fascinated with crime (such as missing person cases/murder cases) or things that are related (i.e forensics, the "crime scene" aspect, analyzing physical evidence), do you like books/films of the genre, or do you research as many cases as you know of to find out more details? If so, you've found the perfect thread! (I've always been fascinated by the Natalee Holloway case)

I love reading mystery and crime novels. I guess that you could say that I am.

Oh my gosh yes; I've always been intrigued by the subject, and with any luck, I'll get accepted into University to study Criminology!
I'm not so much 'big' on Criminal/Crime based films, but am more interested by the TV serials; namely SVU and CSI :)

My entire bookshelf consists of Crime/forensic journals/serial killer books and all that.

I've always been intrigued by the case of Aileen Wuornos; there's no denying what she did, but, to put someone of her mental stability to death, it irked me :/

I'm a bit of a crime geek yes.
I find both real and fictional crime interesting

I think I qualify.

I work as an investigator and have had some training in fraud investigations and interview/interrogation techniques. It's been a while but I also put myself through some police training several years ago; very enlightening.

Just about every book I've read for the past few months has been a forensics/investigation textbook or manual. Mystery is my favorite genre of fiction, though I haven't read any in a while.

I'm registered for a forensics-related training course this spring and will (hopefully!) be going back to school for my 3rd degree (pun intended) in the fall, this time in forensics.

I never really got into the CSI-type shows because I kept getting frustrated with the errors in them; it made them less enjoyable for me. I do like some of the true crime TV shows, like "Cold Case Files" and "Masterminds."

I generally don't follow crime stories in the news media because they usually don't have all of the information available and can be quite biased at times. On a few occassions I have skimmed through case files that have been published online; I find those far more interesting.

Oh yes, I've written several mystery/crime/thriller scripts. True crime fascinates me and I'm prepping to adapt another story in late Feb.

I used to be obsessed with serial killers so naturally I know a lot about them now and consider myself a bit of an SK geek.

I am, for sure. I've got stacks and stacks of true crime books, and I think my family finds it a little disturbing! But I got hooked when I read my first book by Joe McGinniss ("Fatal Vision") and I find the whole process of solving homicides fascinating for some reason. If I'd known about forensics when I was a teenager, I have no doubt that I would've tried to go into that line of work.

I like watching crime doccies. I wouldn't say I'm obsessed with it or it being one of my special interests but I do enjoy watching crime series and of course profiles of famous crimes and infamous crime doers.
