A couple of months ago I was at a friends birthday party (who incidentally has Aspergers) and another of my friends was there, who is Neurotypical, but a quite immature like me... anyway.... me and the NT friend were sleeping over there.... and to start with we were just drinking energy drinks (with the intention of staying up till the early hours anyway) and we watched `Year one` then after that we thought `shall we go to sleep? Naah!` but the freinds paretns wanted us to go to sleep.... so we watched funny utube videos on the NT freinds Ipod for an hour afterwords we were sure the parents had gone to bed..... we turned the xbox on and the NT friend and I played Star wars battle front 2, and Forza Motersport while the AS freind lay in bed and talked (He hadn't had any Caffein) we then drunk more caffeine..... and later on the NT friend was just playing the xbox on his own while I played Lady GAGA tap tap on his ipod ..... that went on for a few hours.... until about half past 5 in the morning.... we though `we should go to sleep.....` then tried to sleep... failed... and watched `the hangover`! that lasted till 8, and by then end I felt well and truly exhausted and was desperate to sleep..... so I tried.... but couldn't!! ! the other two slept happily... but I could not I simply lay there feeling dirty (I was sweaty form the day before, and I hadn't brushed my teeth, and I had eaten allot of sweets during the night) throughout the day I felt exhausted.... but couldn't sleep untill about 4 o clok in the afternoon... when I suddenly felt totally exhausted.... but then I had to go to a fireworks display, and I went to bed at 8:30 that night, and went to sleep at 9:30........ I apologise for that totally pointless statement.... any ways... has anyone else done an all-nighter here..... and what did you do?

It looks like I'm going to unintentionally pull one, tonight. I've got to stop drinking energy drinks at 5 in the evening, on the nights that I stay home and I don't have to work, the next day. I wonder if there are Taurine pills that I can take, instead. That substance speeds up a person's metabolism.

when i had to finish a project for an art class. constructed a do not enter restroom closed sign from cardboard. i lost my mind at 6 am and it fell apart at 8:40 am as i walked out the door to the class. i think i got a b on it or something. class was from 9 to 12. spent the remainder of the day in the art building finishing something for art 1011. i think i ate lunch dunno. came home at...5:30 or 6:00 pm. studied for art history and eventually collapsed in bed.

As I'm predominately nocturnal, yes I do pull an all-nighter quite regularly. I mostly just watch TV, go online or do some light cleaning (as I don't want to wake up my family).

almost every week I pull at least one all nighter. I'm used to it now - been doing it for years.

It depends on how much energy I have in my system. If Im not sleepy then sure I can stay up all night long. It is weird that Im still lively through the next day as well.

My junior year during my undergraduate I got into the habit of only sleeping once every two days (though for about 12-14 hours).

I often stay awake at night and sleep during the day. I usually intend to do schoolwork, and often I do, but more often I watch science fiction shows and argue on PPR.

I frequently pull all nighters. Even when I don't, I generally only sleep about 3 to 4 hours a night. I don't like to waste my time sleeping. Too much other stuff to do.

i was close to pulling an all-nighter last night working on an art project. went to bed at 5 am. woot! woke up at 10 am and finished up the project and a mini paper.

ha! talked to some other people in the class: went to bed at 2:30 woke up at 6, never went to bed had 8:40 class, went to bed at 4:00, 7, the glue on mine is still drying etc.

now i don't really have anything to do at the immediate. i feel weird.

I haven't had an intentional all-nighter for years---probably a New Year's Eve family gathering or something back in the 1990's. When I was in school, I had an all-night bowling fund-raiser. I guess my last all-nighter was in 2004 when I was up all night with a pulmonary embolism---then I was admitted to the hospital for a week---what a way to celebrate my 40th birthday.
