"Clearly you've never been to Singapore"

I JUST got that, JUST NOW. I saw that movie IN THEATERS, too. D:
I was always like "uuh.. girls wear really tight clothes in Singapore?" in the back of my head, but never really thought about it. The real meaning just clicked for me on like the 200th watch of Pirates. OTL
*feels insanely stupid*

I saw "Shrek" in 2001, and I only just 'got' "Lord Farquaad" about a week ago. Though I suppose it's not something I think about every day.

OH MY GOD, I never got that either, until you brought it to my attention. XD;;;
Wow. I wonder what else I haven't gotten yet.

Say "Lord Farquaad" out loud in a deep voice and see if it sounds like anything.

Most of my life. I'd say... 15 years?

My mom would always say "What part of no do you not understand?... is it the Y?"

I had no idea what she was talking about, because there was no "Y" in no.

Only a few months ago, I realized she meant "is it the why?" not "is it the y"

Also in a British accent (if you're North American, like me) and with a pause right after the Q.

And as for the Singapore one.. it's not about tight clothes, it's about ripping clothes off of girls. Which I guess Jack has done often in Singapore, where there are supposedly many prostitutes.

From 1991 to 1996, the wrestler the Undertaker was managed by Paul Bearer.

I finally got the joke in 2006.

12 hours. One time, my dad said a really stupid joke, when I was 12, singing an old jingle about acne cream. I woke up in bed, 12 hours later at 3 in the morning, laughing my head off.
