try and make themselves feel better about the choices they have made in their lives by making others feel worse about their own choices?

you know the ones, they think that if you are not living your life according to their script you are doing it wrong?
that look down on you if you are 25 and haven't had a romantic relationship.
that look down on you are 35 and don't have any children or want any.
that look down on you if you don't live in the same type of house or do the same type of job as everyone else.

or those people that make people with kids feel guilty without reason. To these people it doesn't matter that the kids are happy, healthy and well behaved most of the time. If things are not done their way, they look down on the parents.

basically according to them everything you do is wrong.

YES. My cousin is 2 years older than me, married and has 4 kids. She has always looked down on me. She graduated college in 3 years and took honor classes in high school. SO WHAT! Does marriage mean that they are better than singles?

Oh and then there are those adult women who look down on me because I'm not married at my age yet. So what. That's personal for ME. If I choose to be single then that's my choice!

Has anyone made you feel bad like that, tweetyfan?

I laugh at people who actually change their life because of such pressure from idiots not minding their own business. If I ain't married or anything and someone makes fun of it, I'll say I have better things to do than follow the sheep of the world.

I hate people like that, and I avoid those people, at all costs. God has given me free will to live my life, the way that I see, fit for me. god gave me the free will to do as I please, just as long as I don't hut anybody. God gave me the free will to enjoy the music and TV shows that I do. God gave me the free will to choose the job that I work at, and to do what I like doing on my free time. God gave me the free will, to be an individual. :)

I have been annoyed by strangers that think that they should feel sorry for me because I am 25 and single and have no kids. Big deal, it is my life and if I choose to live solo then so be it!

plus those articles that pop up every so often bug me. the ones that make people think only one way is the right way.

Nothing wrong with going down a different path if you don't hurt anybody.

It used to happen daily now it's just a reminder every once in awhile. Some people get happiness from making others suffer in misery.

I even have a younger sister, and it seems like she's proud of that. She says she's just being honest. But I didn't ask for her opinion, and she randomly says it. Or randomly my family will say you need to get a job or go to school and then they rub in they got a job at 14 and such.

It's annoying I usually just shrug the shoulders, whatever it or just walk away. It's so dumb people need to do that.

If we wanted to change, we would. We could only change for ourselves, to make our selves happier. But if we are happy with what we are doing and who we are that's all that should matter.
