A Mod is walking down the street, and it's quite obvious that the Mod is an Aspie. The Mod is just being herself, minding her own business.
A group of young NT women walk up to her. NT #1 asks, Why are your jeans so narrow at the bottom"? NT #2 asks, "Is that your real hair, or is that a wig"? NT #3 asks, "You listen to The Kinks? Like The Jonahs Brothers are like, so much better"! NT #4 asks, "Where did you get your plaid coat? In the Vintage Section at Value Village? Like you should totally get a bright green fitted hoodie, like the one like, I'm wearing"?
The Mod calmly says to the NT girls, "If I can't be myself in the democratic and liberated world of 2010 Canada, than who can I be? I think you high school seniours have better drive to the library and study for your year end exams. Use your brains, instead of your vanity. By the way, if I didn't love myself, I'd be exactly like the lot of you".
The NT girls run to their messy-haired, half-dressed boyfriends, crying. Their boyfriends tell them, "We told you so". One of the boys says, "I have a younger brother who has High Functioning Autism, and he's exactly like the Mod that you were all picking on, except for the fact that he's a Beatles Fan. He's the greatest person that I've had the pleasure to have known, and I'm glad that he doesn't know you Queen Bees".
The Mod walks up to the boys, and said in her obvious Cockney accent, "Thank you for sticking up for me. There are still good kids in this world".
