I went to take a shower and put my head in and turned it on and it sprayed ME! I turned it off. (I then went to get a new bar of soap) I tried again and it did it a second time! I look up and the shower head was pointed TOWARDS me (towards the outside of the tub!) I then turned it back (the correct way) and asked mom if I did it right. I did then I showered and got done. Sadly family was laughing there HEAD OFF about this!! ! I thought! I put my head in to far!! ! Darn it dad!! !! !

 That's a funny prank. They must have laughed just thinking about the expression you had on your face when it sprayed you!

I don't like that kind of humor, personally. It's kind of amusing on television, in small doses, but in real life it's just cruel and unkind, in my opinion. And quite childish.

I wonder how well he/they know you.
Apparently not well enough to know you it would effect you in that way.
If they knew the effect beforehand; then they don't respect you.

They found it funny that I thought at first I just stuck my head in too far. :-) They know what jokes they can play on me. :-) They get a laugh out of it. They do when I'm clumsy and trip over my own feet. :-)

I know that sometimes family members can play really cruel jokes, but that one sounded relatively harmless. It also seems like you were a good sport about it. Glad to hear there were no hurt feelings. :)

Seconded.

If they both had a laugh then where's the harm? :) Besides I've heard about worse pranks than that.

Doesn't seem to me like she had that much fun herself 8)

Sure, I've heard a lot worse (witch doesn't make this one any better) and I'm not saying people can't play pranks on each other. It becomes a problem when they are directed towards those well known to hate this sort of thing. It's cruel and tasteless to get your kicks by scaring or upsetting someone.

I can have a pretty inappropriate sense of humour (although in a different way) and I've learned to keep my mouth shut after realising how many take offence or misinterpret it.

I'm also not a big fan of that type of humour.
