I have experienced this!! ! I will usually be trying to drop off to sleep and I feel like my head is expanding like a big balloon, or some other part of my body feels like this , like my hands. I just never thought it had a name. It isn't debilitating or anything, but it screws with my head when I am trying to let my mind wander so I can drop off to sleep.

I've never experienced this before, but if I suddenly did, I'd be worried that I had developed a physical abnormality in my brain, like an aneurysm or a tumor. I worry about developing a brain tumor too much for my own good.
What could be more beautiful than the original manuscript?
This is the original version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll, the pen-name of Charles Dodgson, an Oxford mathematician. It is called "Alice's Adventures Underground" and it is a treasure of the British Library. The book is in their online gallery and you can look at each hand-written, hand-drawn page (all 91 pages).
