It's driving me crazy, blinking like that. I need to get work done ok, can you stop blinking so I can think. I literally have to hide the cursor on my Word document so I can think about what I want to write. Then it shows up again when I write so if I stop I lose my train of thought again because I just stare at that stupid blinking cursor.
Does anyone know how to stop a cursor from blinking in Word?

Rant goes for animated smileys and sidebar ads too.

click Start > control panel > double click "mouse" > click the "pointer options" tab > under "visibility" at the bottom of the window, you have three check boxes. Check the box that says "hide pointer while typing".

I checked and that is already selected. What I mean is the little vertical bar that indicates where you are typing. That thing blinks and I don't know how to make it stop. It is in this internet text box too.

Jesus! I never thought this was possible. You saved my life folks! Now I can type without losing my train of thought.
For animated ads and gifs I have adblock plus, but this is didn't know was possible. Oh the wonders of lifehack ... or whatever this would be called. Oh God I can't get over it.
