today decided to stare at the sun....it wasn't an afternoon sun, it was a 5:30ish sun, there was cloud coverage,
but as i stared at it, at first it was bright....you know what, someone told me once
''never take away someones A-HA moment''
so I won't describe how it was, i'll leave the experience totally up to you

I used to do that a lot, form of masochism for a light sensitive person I suppose.

Didn't desensitize me one bit. May have made my vision significantly worse.

But you gotta do something during recess.

people- PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!! !
your vision is irreplaceable, and you are throwing it in the toilet by abusing your eyes via over-exposure of the retina to direct sunlight. being blinded by the light is not pretty.

I have watched the sun as it sets into the ocean just to see if it made a sizzling sound as it slid into the water
