A real 'DUH' Kelly Bundy question about the forums

This is too dumb to post in the computing section, because if you post there they make the mistake of assuming you have a brain.
I've been trying to edit my profile, and it won't save it! I've added information which disappears the moment I hit 'submit' and it keeps defaulting back to the original settings, including leaving me with the wrong AS status.
No, I don't accept cookies, and yes, I have allowed cookies for the Wrong Planet site - so don't send me spyware.
Does anyone knowledgeable who can still speak on my level know how to fix this?
