I have one in my head that goes
"This is the song that never ends.
yes it goes on and on my friends.
Some people started singing it not knowing what it was..
and they'll continue singing it for ever just because.....
this is the song that never ends.............".

Such a Shame - The Kinks

Don't make me over, either.

Not today, but last week it was "Fette's Vette" by MC Chris. I'm not even a huge fan of Star Wars and I have no idea what the majority of the songs is talking about, but I can't get enough of it!

"Creature of the Night.
Creature of the Night?
Creature of the Night..."
(Touch-a touch-a touch-a touch me, Rocky Horror Picture Show)

is fighting it out with

"Quiet desperation it ain't my
Goddamn scene, well I don't know if you can
Follow me, but, let's see, my friends
To the wine, to the stage
You must squander your precious beautiful days
And that would make you a sucker,
And you don't wanna be a sucker, huh?"
(All the World is a Stage (Dive), WIFS)

and

"Belladonna sings
I belong to the girl with the black rings
Gonna set my soul on fire
(fire, fire)
Oh..."
(Belladonna Sings, Katy Carr)

Does anyone know where the "precious beautiful days" line originates? It's a reference to something, but I'm not sure what, and googling it just shows it in a bunch of different contexts.

my brain can't properly process most lyrics, so i never have a song in my head- but i do have melodies in my head, earworms as it were, that repeat in fragments ad nauseum. the most recent one is a recording of a pipe organ playing cole porter's "so in love" - specifically a part of the recording where the organist employs the organ's 32' bass pipes to telling effect.

Phish - Mike's Song

I've had the main riff stuck in my head for days and it's driving me bonkers.

I've had Bellowhead songs stuck in my head for a month or so now. I'll try and put a link in to show, but I'm not sure if I know how to do it.

I'll sing you a song of a row in the town,
When the green flag went up and the Crown flag came down,
'Twas the neatest and sweetest thing ever you saw,
And they played that great game they call Erin go Bragh.

God bless gallant Pearse and his comrades who died,
Tom Clarke, MacDonagh, MacDermott, McBride,
And heres to James Connolly he gave one hurrah,
And faced the machine guns for Erin go Bragh.

Now one of our leaders was down at Ringsend,
For the honour of Ireland to uphold and defend,
They had no veteran soldiers but volunteers raw,
Making sweet Mauser music for Erin go Bragh.

Bold Kent and his comrades like lions at bay,
From the South Dublin Union poured death and dismay,
And what was their wrath when the invaders them saw,
All the dead kakhi soldiers a Erin go Bragh.

A brave foreign captain was raving that day,
Saying "give me one hour and they'll blow you away",
But a big Mauser bullet got stuck in his jaw,
And he died of lead poison ó Erin go Bragh.

Ah glory to Dublin to her do renown,
In the long generations her name will go down,
And the children will tell how their forefathers saw,
The red blaze of freedom ó Erin go Bragh.

My dad's watching a stupid cowboy movie called Cheyenne with Clint Walker. I can't get the indian war song out of my head, I can't stop whistling or clapping to it... :(

Unable to find a youtube music video for it, but if you've seen those old cowboy movies then you might know what I'm talking about. The silly indian drum with the war song in the back ground...not something you would typically hear in a real indian powow.
