In more confirmation that I need to schedule my sleep better, I've seen a few odd tv shows lately. One thing I've noticed across a couple is people claiming that their son/daughter looks exactly like themselves or some other supposed family member. They're point out noses or eye shapes especially. I'm not talking 5 year old kids, but babies, even as young as a few weeks old. I can't see the similarities ever. I mean, once in a while I see skin or hair similarities, but I don't see facial features mirrored.
Can you see similarities between small children and adults? I'm wondering if it's just me not being able to pick facial features out well when they're different sizes, or if it's people (usually the parents in question) just projecting. I'm leaning more towards the second, as I've seen a couple of it's totally your baby because he looks just like you! type things that end up not their baby, but I'm not sure.
