Here is my growth chart from ages 11-18

12. Grew from 5ft2 to 5ft4
13. Grew from 5ft4 to 5ft7
14.Grew from 5ft7 to 5ft7 and a half
15. grew from 5ft7 and a half to 5ft9
16 grew from 5ft9 to 5ft11
17. grew from 5ft11 to 6ft2
18 grew from 6ft2 to 6ft4.

Is this really unusual or not? I am still 6ft4 now at 20. My dad was 5ft10 1/2 and my mum is 5ft2. My younger brother who has just turned 18 is a hair over 6ft1. Nearly all of my close family is under 6ft with exception of 2 distant 6ft4 twin cousins.

I think I should be in the Guiness world records for the height I have reached judging by the size of my parents.

My oldest son, aged 17, is now 6' 7".
My second son, aged 15, is 6' 4".
My third son, aged 14, is 6' 1" & that's the same height as my husband (father of all four 8)) .
My daughter, aged 9, is 5' 1" and fast catching up to me. I'm 5' 5".

It's safe to say that all is normal with you.

I seem to think that the human race, in general, is getting taller. I've heard that over 100 years ago, some one of my height was considered quite tall...

It's nothing to be concerned about, it's normal, though I'm not a gene expert.

My sister's 10 year old son is as tall as her, however.
