Most people will say the 60s and 70s did. I like 80s music best. Not that 60s and 70s music isn't great, it's just classic rock isn't my cup of tea personally. I think it's obvious 60s, 70s and 80s is far better than 00s music and 10s music so far.

For me it's the 80s on both counts. I loved all the glam metal bands in the 80s and I also did't like the electronic pop of the 80s. I can't comment on the 00s or the 10s as I dont listen to any modern music.

As for me, I love the new wave and synth pop stuff but have only fleeting interest in hair metal. Different strokes eh? :)

I think the best were 80s and 90s. They were decades when industrial music came to us. Other styles were good too.
These decades were decades of my childhood, maybe I'm a little nostalgic.

I don't like 00s and 10s, because it's only striptease with plastic pop. Music TVs don't show us interesting music, but a lot of sh**. I'm not interested in somebody's ass, but in the music.
There are many groups playing good music, but they're discriminated. Thank God it's Youtube.

Yes I know! Hope I didn't offend you. I sometimes wonder how and why people's brains are wired to have different preferences for musical styles.

The 90's were the best of times (punk revival) and the worst of times (boy band corporate rock).

The 70's was a GOLDEN AGE that gave us the Ramones and The Clash!

The 60s, 70s and 80s, had the best music. The 2000s had the worse music. That's just my opinion, though. 8)

"Unask the question." There's plenty of excellent (and terrible) music from any decade, and "decades" are meaningless divisions.

I couldn't answer your question, because there's music that I like and dislike from every decade.

I like all sorts of music/eras but the 1980's are probably my favorite overall.

Nothing from 1990's besides Nirvana.

2000's: Not anything really to pay attention to overall, really.
