Why do I have such terrible luck? I touched the big lighter thing I had. Just the tip. It hurt like heck, so I rubbed it against my blanket and touched my blanket. That hurt as well.

Moral: fire is mean.

I didn't think the tip applied under the same rules as 'no metal when hot'. And, blankets are not metal!

Ouch.

Most recently I burned myself because I just HAD to touch a frying pan. I knew I shouldn't, what was I thinking! And I'm nearly 39, when will I ever learn. :(

i keep eating too-hot food and burning my mouth. i sorta remind me of a cat i used to have, who when i was feeding it could never learn to wait until i finished pouring the catfood into the dish before moving its head over the bowl to eat, resulting in a mess of catfood dumped on the cat's dumb head. redumbancy- what a concept.

That made me laugh.

And I hate burning my tongue.

Pizza and the roof of my mouth hate each other. My hands hardly care if they get burned any more. So rough from metalworking, falling off bikes, etc. In biology class we did a test of how well you sense touch. Lets say 1 is perfect and 15 is horrible. My hands rated a 15 and my arms rated a 1. I can feel through every single hair on my arm not to mention half my family has sensitive skin but my hands are worthless for sensory use.

I constantly electrocute myself when I put in or remove the charger from my laptop. It doesn't hurt as much, but it hurts, and it happens all the time.
