No idea, I'm too broke to buy a PS3. I would rather take advantage of the opportunity to buy $1-10 PS2 games than save $300 or however much the PS3 is now and pay for $40-60 games. I do miss Armored Core 4 and a few other PS3 games though.

I'm afraid, that xbox is officially dead, you will have to send it off and get a replacement for free. 
I think you could keep the hard drive? I'm not too sure?

You could try overheating it with a towel rapped around it until the xbox heats up.
Leave it to cool for 20 minutes and turn it back on.
**Tip** Don't store it in very dusty place, you'd find that you are most likely to get a red ring of death again.

I feel your pain Ferdinand. We had nothing but trouble, right from the start, with XBox360 & when it died we, eventually, got a PS3 and have had it for 6, trouble free, months thus far...fingers firmly crossed...for my family who all spend heaps of time playing their games.
Personally, I haven't found another game like Crash Bandicoot 1. I played it to death and clocked it repeatedly until disc & console gave up on me....
I miss it and want it back...
