Yes. I wanted to take Zulu for my high school forien language requirment but my mom insisted it was too exotic and Rosetta Stone didn't have a course in it so I chose Spanish instead. It was very well worth it and I learned a lot of Spanish becuase it applied my learning style.

South Africa was a special intrest at the time. If my parents wanted me to be intrested in people they should have abligied and let me learn Zulu but no my parents' insisted the homeschool program would not count it as a credit, there was no one I could speak it with and it was too exotic. My parents always hated my Africa special intrest. Anyway it's matching pictures to the right word. For instance the voice will say "perro" and show you a bunch of pictures of various animals. If you click on the pic of the dog, it tells you that you are right. Basicaly how I learned English.

I've used it.

It's very good at teaching conversational skills and pronounciation. Not much help with formal grammar. In short, it will help you to speak a language more like a native, and to learn as a native would learn, but it probably won't get you through a university course.

I'd recommend it if you're thinking of going to live in a country, or to visit for an extended period.

I currently own Rosetta Stone, and I love the program, though, in my opinion, It's not worth the money (but it's still cheaper than virtually all other methods of language learning).

I'm not going to publicly endorse the piracy of this product, either.
