A very lonely day. And then back to work in the evening.

Change of plans. One of my best friends, are going to the Canada Day celebration with his dad, so I'll have the day, to myself and watch 'You Really Got Me' and listen to The Kinks, while drinking tea, every three to four hours. Very English. :)

Canada Day left a bad taste in my mouth, last year, my last summer as a Sid, which is slang, for Punk.

I don't usually do anything for Canada Day and this year is no different. I'll hear the fireworks from my house and that's about it.

Too many misbehaving children at firework celebrations, I'll be staying home and watching any that I can from my window.

Fireworks, stores open only from 12 to 5, barbecues, off-key renditions of O Canada, and other things associated with Canada's "birthday".

As for me, it's a chance to visit my sister while she's coming to town (she normally lives five hours away by car).
