I have 3 long-time "special interests"... One of them is cars and small pickups from the 1980s with Diesel engines (VERY rare in the USA). I have one each of all of the US-market Toyota Diesels, and two later model Toyota 4x4s which I retrofitted with Toyota Diesel engines from Germany and Japan. I also have a 1982 Cadillac Eldorado with the factory 5.7 Diesel engine.
SO, with all those, I couldn't resist this '84 Buick Century V6 Diesel on eBay... About as rare as you can get, and definitely a pile of junk to anyone but an Aspie Diesel nut

It's in decent shape, but been sitting neglected for 11 years. I'm driving out to Phoenix, AZ tomorrow with our trailer to pick it up. Based on the story the seller gave, it will need everything from fuel system to brakes to new tires, hoses, etc., done in order to be drivable, and needs a 10-years washing and probably some paint & body work. But that's what I love to do!
